Victor Morton Cansfield, (1906-8), Second Lieutenant, Royal Field Artillery, was killed in France on February 24th 1916.
He was born in Manchester in 1892 and was at Bootham between 1906 and 1908, where he was Secretary of the Reading and Discussion Society.
He is buried at the Cite Bonjean Military Cemetary, Armentieres.
